The much-awaited annual function at Sunrise Public School was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur last Saturday in the impressive school auditorium, a venue decorated elegantly with colorful banners, vibrant balloons, and fresh flowers adorning every corner, giving the entire place a festive and welcoming appearance as students, parents, teachers, and esteemed guests arrived in their finest attire, brightening the atmosphere with smiling faces and excited chatter as everyone anticipated the day's events. The function commenced promptly at ten in the morning, signaled by a ceremonial lighting of the lamp that signified the start of a day dedicated to knowledge, unity, and achievement, accompanied by the soulful melodies of the school choir's welcome song which uplifted spirits and set a harmonious tone for the program ahead. The principal, Ms. Anurima Sinha, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, expressing gratitude and pride for the collective achievements of the school community while warmly inviting all present to join in the celebrations, her words resonating with applause. Among the distinguished guests was Dr. Anjali Mehta, a renowned scientist and proud alumna of the school, whose presence infused the gathering with inspiration and aspiration, further heightened as she shared her journey and encouraged students to pursue their dreams with dedication and resilience.
